Can we add a different indicator for the armor buff? In the middle of a firefight, I kill someone and the timer for the buff appears on the bottom left. If I look at my life it's still flashing red, and the bar doesn't go up until the normal recovery time activates. If someone shoots once after I kill someone, I still die as if I had no armor (this even with the buff at 3x)! How do we know the armor buff is actually active? At least with other life buffs there's the green bar.

Finally got it yesterday and its a monster in pvp. I got a 15 kill streak with it. I love it due to the high stability and its higher impact.

Like the armor boost is against fallen/hive/taken/cabal/vex attacks... Some tests are in order and later today when I get off work in 12 hours I'll attempt to do that

I think it's fine as is. You don't want the notification in your immediate field of view. That would be a distraction. Btw, it's not an overshield. It would have no effect on your health bar if you're in the red. Obviously, it's armor effect isn't going to save you at that point. The on-screen notification lets you know it's active. I guess you have to trust it's working just like every other perk that uses the same notification method.
