To anyone arguing that destiny would win because they can be revived after death, Spartans could simply shoot or punch or grenade or bomb the ghost until it breaks. If you still insist on arguing that the ghosts can't be killed if they're attacked by regular weapons, and instead have to be killed by darkness. A spartan can simply kill a hive and take its gun and shoot the ghost with it. If the weapons themselves don't have darkness, then the Spartans capture some hive, cabal, fallen and make them destroy the ghost.

Except they won't because they won't affect him in his throne world

Oryx won't win this battle for them.
-
Which by the time that happens the guardian would already be revived
-
They have the guns and the hive/fallen with them already silly!
-
What do you mean?

The Spartans carry around the weapons of hive/fallen as secondaries (or they adapt the darkness into their own weapons). They also have small teams pushing around fallen/hive. Maybe they even ally with the fallen because after all, the fallen hate guardians because they have the traveler, not the Spartans.

Edited by Edcub One: 2/23/2016 1:36:14 AMMaybe. But they are still human so they may still hate them.
-
Does it matter? They will still force them to kill ghosts, which they will for sure do happily.
-
Yeah.
-
But they wouldn't be able to revive anymore.
-
Who ever said the tower was a darkness zone
-
I meant if the Ghost is destroyed.
-
Yeah but by the time they got an enemy that wad able to destroy the ghost the guardian would already be up
