Edited by Moot: 2/21/2016 7:06:38 PMThe UNSC's most powerful armament is called a NOVA bomb (interesting but 100% true). The NOVA bomb contains 9 nuclear fusion warheads that all simultaneously explode when activated, increasing the bomb's destructive yield a hundred-fold. There has only ever been one recorded time in the halo universe when this bomb was used. During this one recorded event, the bomb was detonated aboard a Covenant vessel within a large fleet that was orbiting a Covenant planet. The resulting explosion boiled and vaporised the entire fleet within an instant (over 300 ships); scorched half of the planet to an uninhabitable state within seconds; released radiation that penetrated to the planet's core; generated winds and tsunamis that flattened any remaining cities; and causes a nearby moon to shatter into millions of pieces.

Still a hell of a weapon
-
Indeed
-
Slipspace bombs, but due to how expensive slip space drives are it's more than likely they would resort to conventional nuclear weapons.
-
Yeah but just one could wipe out a planet
-
No, they only have a range of a few miles, they are not black holes but rather holes in reality.
-
Yeah but you'd just have to wipe out the floating space beach ball
-
You mean...Slipspace bombing ;). But anyway they're far more significant powers on both sides then the Last City or UNSC, it will be them who win the day, I.E. The Precursors.
-
No I meant ram a ship into the traveler and blow it to hell
isn't that where the guardians get their power?
-
They could probably shoot it down in that case, Slipspace jumping right on it would be more effective. The ;) I placed was a inside joke. But once again their are far more powerful factions on both sides.
