So I was pitching an idea to some of my friends who seem to be of the same mind: Trials of Osiris is a lolfest. Stay with me on this one...
Once you reach near or max light, the incentive to go flawless (besides bragging rights and grimoire) doesn't exist. I'm not talking about the chest weapons- the adept version of every weapon in Trials is the same as the non adept version except it's a different color and it has Last Resort standard as a perk.
No extra fire rate, stability, reload, damage, range, etc etc.
The rewards to just do bounties at 5 and 7 wins are the SAME as the RNG chest at the end of the torch path. There's no point to run trials.
Until you wanna troll sweaty turds and keyboard Cowboys. My friends and I love crucible and killing everyone, probably more than raiding. So instead of giving a damn about the lighthouse- we go in all retarded on full tilt.
If the enemy team happens to kill us? Fine.
If we happen to wreck them with test weapons and year one greens? Let the lolfest begin.
Maybe we're bored as this makes it fun again. I don't know. What I do know is that once the stress of winning and going flawless is off, it's a whole lot more fun.
Hope to see you in Exodus Blue! I'll be the guy in all pink armor dancing on the empty special ammo box with Khovstov.

Haha. I don't give a damn about the loot or bragging rights. I just want the grimoire card. That's the sole reason I stopped trying to max my grimoire
