I can understand that, if things are going good in your life and you have someone who is special to you who is also well-off, then sure. But people marry, especially now, for different reasons, different feelings. Some are simply lonely and need someone. Others are in hot water and they need someone to tell them everything's okay. And, worst case, there are those that do it for the money, or the sex, or the bragging rights, and there's no "love" whatsoever, just a primal gap being filled. I had a lot of good friends, and I used to be in a relationship two years ago. Now, I am single, and I admit that I'm probably the most antisocial I've ever been because of where I'm at. But I'm not going to find someone to love just because I'm lonely; that's what my ex did, and I made a huge mistake leaving that alone. I'll live, and I'm still finding different things that make me happy.
