Anyone that thinks the halo universe could beat the destiny universe is being a fanboy. Voidwalker's alone could eliminate a whole column of armor with 1 nova bomb. Oryx could literally take the flood as the parasite is similar to the worms, with the worms being more powerful. Not to mention the abilities to time travel, atheon, and the massive power of the cabal.

The worms control Oryx, not the other way around. & Halo rings > I don't understand why everyone is arguing about the pro and cons of the ground units on either side. They're insignificant, there would only be a few main contenders in this war. The Forerunners The Precursors The Flood The Halo rings Vs The Taken The Hive The Vex
-
Oryx can only take sentient life forms and the flood are not sentient life forms
-
They are, but he can't take them due to their unified will.
-
*casually activates the Halo rings* rip.
-
How will he gat a Halo?
-
Who says I have to? Anyone in the Halo universe could do it, so long as they get the Index.
-
Why would they? The Precursors will wipe out everyone. People like Oryx can make this a stalemate if they start in their home dimension however.
-
Wouldn't that wipe all life from existence? Meaning a theoretical tie?
You can't WIN, if everyone DIES.
-
*glances at Forerunners and Prometheans* Yeah OK.
-
Okay, true. I forgot about Forerunners/Prometheans.
GG Halo Universe
-
The Forerunners were outside of the blast radius when they fired, and the Prometheans were inside a shield world which protected them. Also how will Oryx get a Halo? Not that it matters as the Precursors are immune to the Halos.
-
I'm sorry, what? I think you severely misinterpreted the conversation that you commented into or you responded to the wrong section of this comment section.
-
What did you mean then?
-
The person said using the Halo Rings would annihilate the entire Destiny universe (which it would) and I questioned the probability of it wiping the entire Halo universe from existence as well. He kindly pointed out that Forerunners and Prometheans would be immune or sheltered from the Halo Rings blast. My last message acknowledges that I forgot about the Forerunners immunity and Prometheans shielded world, also acknowledging that with that knowledge their isn't a possible way that the Destiny Universe could topple the Halo Universe. :)
-
Forerunners are not immune, but ok.
-
Yeah, the forerunners wiped themselves out One of the vids in halo:legends I believe.
-
Some survived outside of the galaxy.

Some survived outside of the galaxy.

I shoot nova bombs all day and have never seen it damage walls, trees, even dirt. What makes you think it could destroy the Great Master Chief who has a heart of Gold plasma and seven lives like a feline. He is the ancestor of all Guardian, the one and only original Titlocker or Waranter or Hunlocktan.
-
This is the most fanboy thing I've ever heard
-
>massive power of the cabal Can barely hold their positions on Mars against the Vex and is continuously -blam!-ed over by Guardians and can't take Earth. Okay pal.
-
Edited by Edcub One: 3/7/2016 3:59:42 AMThey are fighting wars across the galaxy. So they can only send so many troops.
-
Lets hear which wars these are. We have heard that they haven't been focusing the Solar System fully but still, if they were as massive as they say it should be no problem.
-
Edited by Edcub One: 3/7/2016 4:07:42 AMIt's only been said that they have conquered many worlds, and continue to do so but it had not been described what wars they're fighting beyond this one.
-
Then it's pure speculation and assumptions
