You're saying they could even touch the Vex or Hive, or millions of Demi-God supersoldiers whose sole occupation is mass-genocide? The UNSC would get crushed by the Hive Pantheon, simply because it's so above them. They're trained to fight real, living enemies; not reality warping deities.

Oryx can and has survived planetary destruction. Even if you managed to kill his physical form, you'd be -blam!-ed as soon as you entered his Throne World. Guardians can go into Throne Worlds; Spartans and Marines can't, powers of causality and all.

The reality warping does have a limits seeing as they actually need armies. Not saying the UNSC OR Covenant could necessarily beat them but just pointing that out.
