Can we get some SRL going again?
When my girlfriend and I started playing in mid December 2015, one of the first things we got to do, was SRL. Didn't even understand what an event was in the game, nor bounties. haha! However, we have both come a long way, and after seeing Iron Banner and Crimson Doubles, I must ask about bringing back SRL. New maps, maybe some new gear and drops...However, I would also like to see it as a normal crucible playlist. Sometimes I don't wanna just grind out killing guardians, and it would be a lot of fun to race and still gain crucible rep. So come on Bungie, whattya say!? Can I get any of the community backing this? What are you thoughts as well community? Who really enjoyed this?
It kind of reminded me a little bit of Jet Moto. I LOVED THAT GAME! lol. Cheers!

I never got a chance to do the racing since I got the game a little after 2016 began, which is why I think it should come back for all who never got that chance as well. I mean most games like this have a racing mode in them, like GTA 5 as an example.

12 RepliesAs I've said repeatedly to these posts: Not until they make the much needed improvements. As of now, it's was a -blam!-ing poor man's f zero racing game with awful physics. Major lag, animation lag, psychics issues, speed boosts not working properly, being launched off the map, exploding when using the speed gates, crossing the finish line first only to see someone that was four places behind you get first at the tally screen. Just no. Not until they fixed everything that was wrong with it in the first place. And even then it shouldn't be in the game, the resources would be better off being put into other things that would be beneficial towards the base game.

I have to admit that I don't like racing games but I gave SRL a try and was very pleased. I ended up doing over 300 races and can't believe how much cool stuff I got to infuse my gear. I was able to bring all 3 characters up 2 levels and using 3 of coins got about 25 exotics to drop. Lastly I now have a ton of cool sparrows too. I hope that they bring it back soon!

It should definitely be a regularly recurring event like Iron Banner. Maybe in-between Banners.
