It is late at night and the only noises that can be heard are Alex and Nigel and the soft soothing tone of crickets
Nigel: You ready for the amount of synths?
Alex: Yep, how much did we get?
Nigel: 93 synths total, three were heavy, 15 special and 75 primary.
Bewildered by the amount of synths they just got he began to wonder how he got so many
Alex: Are you sure?!
Nigel: Yep!
Alex: Sweet that gives me more time to work on my self resurrection armor tomorrow instead of worrying about synthesis!
Nigel: Wait, I thought you finished that yesterday?
Alex: Honestly, so did I but after I ran a few simulations I saw some of the vex tech needed some tweaking.

Meanwhile at the tower...
A hushed meeting between the Vanguard was taking place
Cayde-7: What if we took his ghost?
Ikora Rey: Why take his ghost?
Cayde: Because first of all, without his ghost he can't revive and second, before he was banished from the city some of his closest friends said that he considered his ghost one of his best friend even giving it a name, Nigel.
Commander Zavala: That's good thinking Cayde, that might just lure him back to the tower.
Ikora: Well who is going to go and retrieve his ghost?
Zavala: I can take care of that.
Cayde: Let's just hope he's asleep.
Zavala: Well I'll be back.
I know it's not Cayde-7 it's Cayde-6 but because it's been 10 years after the main game takes place I like to believe that his memory was at least wiped once.
Note this is just the prolog things are going to get a lot more interesting soon
