No one ever uses it because it's garbage. They took 1 shotting out because that was a huge problem, right? The thing has no range and shots rarely hit.

Man, I wonder where you got that false information from.. Go look at the statistics. More people use Hawkmoon then the PDX Series.
-
No one ever succeeds with hawkmoon. You cannot honestly tell me it is a very good weapon. It is out gunned by eyasluna all the time! It has no range you are forced to use accurized ballistics and hammer forged, plus it doesn't have great recoil control.
-
It's still an amazing gun. Picked it up the other day and it still wrecks. Gets 2 hit kills all the time. Just don't use it at long range, it is a close range gun.
-
It is amazing looking, but not its performance. Needs a buff.
-
It performs just fine
-
Then explain to me why almost nobody uses it. It doesn't compete in trials, iron banner, or any sweaty matches.
-
Because the last word takes a dump on every other gun
-
lol it is true, but last word tore up in house of wolves time and hawkmoon was good then, people used it much more in that era
-
Are you joking? People get outgunned by Eyasluna because they're garbage! If you want the hit detection to be fixed, that's fine. The gun itself is fine as it is.
-
The gun prides itself with its range which was stripped away for no good reason
-
It was stripped away because it did exactly what it wasn't supposed to do. The same reason Thorn wasn't brought to Year 2 is the same reason Hawkmoon's range was nerfed. Hand Cannons were designed for close-mid range encounters, and Bungie has confirmed this is their intention! Hawkmoon was able to challenge not only snipers but the only winning point of Scout Rifles as well. It's nerf was taken away for a very good reason. It's fine as it is now. I don't want another Thorn. The Hawkmoon rewards a skilled hand.
-
Hawkmoon was special. It DID have the range, and a small touch was all it needed, not as much as what happened.
-
We can agree to disagree, As an avid user of Hawkmoon, I think it's fine how it is.
-
As a user who loved hawkmoon in year 1, i disagree
