First off - HI!! Thanks for becoming part of a small (but soon to be fantabulous) clan. I need to kind of let you know about the in's and out's of how I plan to run this group, don't I? Maybe a background story to our name. Heh, it's simple really. My husband, Jayson9253, and I (Ayejay) like to ride dirt bikes with our 10yr old son, and I'm a total gamer dork, so "M0t0" is for the dirt and "RPG4m3rz" for the gaming. We do a bunch of other stuff, like be parents, but dirt bikes and Destiny is pretty much how it is around here. *For those who may be curious - Jay rides a Suzuki DRZ250, I ride a Kawasaki KX100, and our son (DarkLink17) rides a Kawasaki KLX125.* When we aren't working or riding, we are playing. I started playing in November 2015 and Jayson9253 caught the bug January 2016 after watching me log so many hours in game. Then our little brother (Jeep_Creeper) started playing and it's been just the 3 of us with a random friend popping in every now and again. The whole point in creating this clan was to meet others who like to laugh and have fun like we do. We laugh at ourselves and each other a lot. We mess up like noobs. We get lost. We get stuck. We rage. We die... a lot. We are still getting used to the madness that is the inner workings of the Destiny and The Taken King world but we are having fun doing it and that's important to me. Playing Destiny for me (and for Jayson9253) is a stress reliever from our normal lives and I cherish that. We try to do the weeklies - crucible, story, and nightfall. Raids... that's a whole different issue. Ayejay has done parts of Crota's End, VoG, and KF with some other players before Jay started playing. Jay, on the other hand, hasn't even seen the first 5 seconds of the raids. Sadness... I know... We would love to have some members who are experienced in the raids so that we can finally start chipping away at them. I know that some "instruction" is needed for them and good teachers would be lovely. If you want to help us out, please do! For now, we just take on the various strikes, story, and crucible missions and have fun doing it. I have met a ton of really awesome people who have helped me with weeklies, nightfall, and some parts of the raids. But because of conflicting time zones, schedules, and what-have-you, Jay and I have yet to do a raid from start to finish!! So lets do some raids people! Player conduct... what is expected from and of you... I hate this part. Basically, we don't really age discriminate but if you are under the age of 13, I will hold you to the same "maturity level" as my 10 year old son's. He knows and understands how to conduct himself online and I expect younger ones in Destiny to do so as well. Same goes for the over-13 crowd. We are adults and play with mostly other adult players. We try not to belittle, berate, or talk down on anyone and it will not be tolerated. I, Ayejay, am more serious about this than having fun. We were all new, sucky, and confused once ourselves. Frustration happens. Stuff gets messed up. Death and total annihilation happens A LOT in this game. If you can't handle being destroyed 30 times defending the WARSAT in the S.A.B.E.R. nightfall mission or dying over 300 times while jumping from tomb ship to tomb ship to make it to the warpriest checkpoint in the kings fall raid, then find a different clan. There will be no ridicule or talking crap on each others character style, weapon, equipment, set up, etc. We all have different play styles and different set ups accommodate each players unique ability and skill. Ex. My hunter - I prefer to play as the Nightstalker, use the Monte Carlo exotic autorifle, 1000-yard-stare sniper, and any of the swords. My armor and recovery is favored more over agility. However, Jay likes to play his hunter (who is still a baby blade dancer) with pulse rifles, side arms, and rocket launchers. He prefers recovery and speed over armor. It all comes down to our own way of playing. You may think your set up is better than ours BUT that is a set up best suited for YOU. Suggestions are ALWAYS welcome, but never, NEVER judge other players for how they set up their characters. Its all about preference. If someone starts causing trouble, headache, and/or heartache for other players in the clan, the solar hammer of Jay's Sunbringer Titan will come down upon you and you will be booted. Other than that, If you love to laugh, want to make new friends, help with progress in game, be silly, talk dirt bikes, dig girl gamers better than you... Well you found your home in Destiny away from your home in real life :-P. I know there is more that I need to cover but I have a hell of a toothache and need to go shower. I will cover more later.
