Is it ever going to get fixed? Because at the moment it's range is terrible, hit detection is way off, accuracy and handling is poor at best and it fires blanks. They took a perfectly good and balanced gun (all they needed to fix was the one shot glitch and a very TINY adjustment to range and that was it) and made it worse than garbage.
GG Bungie.

Edited by JimmyTheHand: 2/16/2016 1:30:06 PMIt should be fixed because it was like a slap in the face to all XBox users. As soon as they get legendary Hawkmoon, it's less than. It is definitely no longer exotic. I loved that gun in Year 1. Never a fan of Thorn or Last Word but that gun was so my style. Now everytime I get a 310 version it's instantly infusion material for any legendary which is better than it..... In case you were wondering that is most of them.

Bump Please fix Hawkmoon : ' ( ...please
-
You know, I tried using hawkmoon in trials and Crimson doubles this week. Nothing. I used to wreck face with that gun. It just sucks now unless you are shotgun range. This shouldn't be a thing.
-
The whole gun is based around luck and not skill. I think it's awesome but you can't blame them for making it where if your luck is average then the gun itself is at par as well. You can't tell me that's not true because of 2 people with Hawkmoons were faced against each other, it would be more like a game of slot machine than skill.

I didnt even think the one shot deal on it was OP. It was ridiculously rare to get, let alone have that shot be your headshot. I got it like twice all of Y1 and hawkmoon was my main back then. This super inaccuracy crap on handcannons has to go though. No one wants to play with a gun that can straight up miss even if youre dead on target

Bump!!! Hawkmoon must be restored!!!

Hopefully the hand cannon era makes a "Dawning" soon. See what I did there? You've been warned
-
I hate what happened to Hawkmoon.
-
Hawkmoon has fantastic range what are you talking about? Way better than the last word which is the best HC in the meta.

Awesome montage inside----> https://youtu.be/E14YUmewSiY

Legendary hand cannons need it too. Figure they'll shoot em a buff.

They are going to Nerf it again. They won't give you a reason this time either.

im not so sure its hit detection. i recently dug up and have been enjoying my year one gear, like fatebringer and the longbow synthesis, and i think i discovered something about year two vs year one(presumably year one that carried over is still the same as not carried); year two BASE aim assit is auto pilot. im still experimenting with it, bu comapaired to year two guns, year one seem so much harder to aim now. and they never did before taken king. that said, i would be more than happy to get a buff to my first and favorite exotic.

Edited by Nero: 2/16/2016 4:03:09 AMCheck out my eyasluna roll on my warlock.
it's range is terrible, hit detection is way off, accuracy and handling is poor at best and it fires blanks.
Problem solved.

Newly made PS4 clan looking for new members to join. If interested, it is called iTranscEND. At the moment it's only me but it was made very recently. Thanks
-
I agree it sucks now. Most all the handcannons do. Except tlw. I'm ok with eyasluna. Y1 I loved my jewel and my red hand 9
-
After getting use to handcannons in general in year 1, I can't use them in year 2. They all handle so much differently than they did that I seriously just can't use them.
-
My biggest problem with it is that when you hover over Hawkmoon, it says the same perk twice.
-
Hawkmoon is great it rewards a skilled hand for sure. Try pacing your shots out make sure there lined up before shooting, dont spam the trigger whatsoever.

Edited by Mr Duzo: 2/16/2016 1:53:23 AMOne weapon I never understood why they nerfed it into the ground, the one shot kill procced maybe 1 in a 100.

BUMP x1000000

Yep. Anyone else scoffing at the PLAINLY visible weapon info view glitch that shows two "double feather" perks instead of the other perk? What a hatchet job. No quality control exists in Bungie.
