Ice Breaker exploit in Trials is for SCRUBS.
DON'T FRONT, NO ONE WAS USING IT IN TRIALS A WEEK AGO NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S A VIABLE OPTION? NO, IT'S BECAUSE THEY TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS SPECIAL AMMO.

It happened in my first game of Trials this weekend. All 3 had Icebreakers then switched to their 1000 yards later. The game's been changed for a reason, play it the way it's meant to be played now.
Go ahead and disagree. I won't care. You ladyboys always gotta find an exploit to get cheap kills instead of playing the game right. If you NEED sniper ammo that bad to get a kill then there's more wrong with you than just being a coward in a fake fight.

2 RepliesMy god! It's the weapon ability to recover ammo! How in the world is this an exploit?? Also, change that and you'll see people complaining even more because they'll be losing ammo when switching weapons in PvE. Or do you think bungie will separate game modes if they change it?

I don't swap from ice breaker I keep it on, because of the aim assist, infinite ammo and the fact it can 1-shot headshot

2 RepliesPeople seem to not understand what OP was trying to say. Allow me to translate.... "If you want to use icebreaker, use icebreaker. Don't use it to exploit ammo for your other secondaries though, that's not the purpose of the icebreaker"

In ToO switching secondary weapons should cause you to lose all ammo. Edit: however if people continue to use icebreaker even if they patch it so once you switch guns you lose your ammo then that's fair enough. The trade off of having sniper ammo but lowering your light and therefore doing less damage seems fine.

9 RepliesHere's the problem though. Trials is a competitive mode. So it's like steroids in baseball. How am I suppose to know my opponent is going to play fair? A lot of guys will put ice breaker on at the last second and then not even fire it first round. Change the weapon and now they've just cheesed and have full special ammo. When I have 4 bullets? So now everyone is using it because if you don't your at a disadvantage in a competition mode. People are trying to win. The only way I see to do that is to have special or somebody might be cheating you and you wouldn't even know essentially

2 RepliesNot just icebreakers. Also sidearms as soon as the first round is over switch to 1k yard before second round. Hopefully Bungie do something to stop this, I don't know why some people are so allergic to their primaries.
