What's the meaning of a sequel!?!?!?
I think you could enlarge the experience, not simply put a mark and change the page...
I hope it means that in 2017 we will see, for example, how the story develops beyond the frontiers of our solar system.
At the end...i hope it will not be Destiny 2 but Destiny Squared!!!

Destiny 2 SHOULD be a sequel. It's better than just an expansion. IMO, your characters should be brought to the sequel but ALL gear should be almost completely useless and irrelevant. Full games should be new and continue with the story. It needs to be close to a "fresh start." But expansions needs to continue with it. So if another Ttk-like expansion came out with destiny 2, the gear should still be relevant. Not like Ttk.
