The trees sit still and peaceful, not a soul in sight, save for the Quarian, and the smaller girl hanging upside down from the tree directly above her, trying to get a peek at what she was reading.
-
She sees the instructions for a transformation spell, asking for a human heart "Hi there."
-
Blood liked gravity, a lot. So much so that blood decided to go straight down with gravity, and straight down in Rose's body. Subsequently, that meant all of it went to her head. Rose slips straight off of the branch and falls into the tangle of roots next to the Quarian, laying on her back and sliding further, ending with her boots next to the avid reader's head, while Rose's head lay vice-versa. There wasn't much of a sound to the motion, just Rose silently sliding down beside her after suddenly dropping, looking back and forth as if wondering where gravity was taking her, until finding the Quarian's gaze upon her... ...To which she freezes, still as a statue, a deer in headlights.
-
"Is something wrong? Oh no..... You saw the spell?...... This makes things awkward....."
-
"...What... Ohhhhhh that thingy with the hearts you're reading?" She props up on her elbows. "Isn't that for Valentine's Day? ...OoooOoooooh.... you have a valentine...." She hops to a crouching position, then shifts to sit against the tree, looking over the Quarian's book again. Personal space didn't seem to be a factor for her.
-
It seemed to be a transformation into a demon "I would use it, but most ways of getting a heart end in someone dying, and I'm not keen on killing for this spell."
-
Rose squints as she looks over, it was obvious why once she finally spoke. "....I don't think you know how hearts work..."
-
"Did I say something wrong?"
-
"Totally! Hearts don't kill people! Hearts make people happy and stuff...."
-
Yusa giggles at her misconception at this "That's one way of thinking."
-
"Well, yes, because it's true!"
-
"I guess I should probably introduce myself."
-
"Why?"
-
"Because it's polite."
-
"Why?"
-
"Anyway. I'm Yusa, and you are?"
-
"Wh-" She pauses, realizing what she just said. "-Oh, Hi Yusa!"
-
"Hello, so what's your name?"
-
"It's Rose, like the flower!"
-
"That's a nice name, humans always have good names......"
-
"But your name is cooooooooleeeerrr, it's like Yusa and stuff so... It's like... Erm...." Mid sentence she had run out of steam again. She curls her index finger below her lip. "Like Yusa!"
-
Yusa giggles and smiles under her mask "Thank you."
