Hey Destiny community, I was wondering if anyone could help me build a loadout? I am a Level 40 Nightstalker Hunter. I know for sure I need the Graviton Forfeit, Dark-Drinker, a sniper, and a pulse rifle. But since Destiny has so much to choose from, what is actually practical and useful? I would like to armor to boost my Intellect significantly and would like to have about 300. Also what skill nodes are the best?

Wambo combo

Graviton forfeit with either predator or keen tracker. It depends on the situation. I like using black hole and predator in objective based situations, and lockdown for grenades. Spike can be good if used correctly, but I prefer Voidwall or Vortex. I used sealed grasps, but you can use skyburners annex. It's situational, but it gives you an excuse to save your super and get special ammo when getting orbs.

You need mida multi tool 😆 i like to have 2 melee's and i run with toxic smoke.. and ofc shade step.... i run int/str.

Void wall, envenomed, black hole, better control jump, longer grenade effects, keen scout if you have graviton on or shadestep if not. Weapons: Scout rifle or pulse paired with shotgun cause it's fun as shit. Or last word or another hand canon with a sniper rifle. You can inspect my hunter if you would like.

Want help? Switch to bladedancer or gunslinger. Nightstalker is utter trash in crucible. I can't tell you how many times I've been hit in the face with a tether and not only survive, but am able to kill the Hunter that shot it before it actually tethers me.

Edited by Heidegger: 2/12/2016 4:32:49 PMPvp I use Scout Sidearm Heavy Machinegun 300 disc/str Exotic gauntlet: Sealed Ahamkara Grasps This allows two smoke bombs and combine it with a grenade can save you in sticky situations. If you have Monte Carlo but not able to max strength you should be fine. Edit: aside from the weapons what you see on my nightstalker is what I use for pve

Edited by m4dness : 2/12/2016 5:46:09 PMFor PvP: Highest agility+recovery, lowest armor. Smoke nade that sticks to surfaces, spike nade. Shadestep helmet, keen scout subclass node. Any close range primary + sniper or long range primary + shotgun. Shadestep shotgun is useful but dodging sniper shots is good too. Any heavy weapon. 3v3 use black hole for a super shutdown defensively. 6v6 use quiver offensively. Max out discipline first, then strength. Intellect not needed. Lockdown for longer nades.

Check my hunters subclass. :note That's for PvE lolz

Edited by The New Monarch: 2/12/2016 4:12:21 PMI don't know why you need Dark Drinker with a sniper and pulse rifle. That sounds like personal preference, nothing to do with the subclass. -For PvP use the Voidwall or Vortex grenade. Triple Jump. Black Hole for super. Envenom for smoke. I always run with high armor and high agility with very low recovery. Use Lockdown to extend the duration of smoke and grenades and for the last spot use Keen Scout since you already have Shadestep from Graviton. -For PvE I prefer Voidwall. Triple Jump. Black Hole or Blood Bound and Vanish in Smoke. If you're with a team use Courage of the Pack or Light of the Pack with your super to create orbs or boost armor and recovery. Also I select Shadestep and put on Skyburners Annex helmet as it has support perks and is better suited for PvE. -For armor I use a perfect balance for Intellect, Discipline, and Strength. I find that all Nightstalker abilities are very useful so I don't prioritize. If I were to prioritize in PvP I would put more emphasis on Dis and Str since you can throw more smoke and grenade combos. Also if you have Ace of Spades from the gunsmith that is a great PvE hand cannon. Not always the best option but still worth getting.

If you're going to be playing PvP I'd suggest a 4/3/3 or a 3/3/4 type build.
