Unpopular opinion - I find - that it is not op. There are many other things in this game that's burning you and adding a gun to that just doesn't make that much of a difference for me.
I would say the current light level of it also argues it don't need further nerf.

Normal cruci light doesn't matter and I've found most people running thorn are sunsingers (aka pussies) no offence but firebolt thorn combo is basically an open admittance tat you have no gunskill.

My bad then, I mostly do Crucible events - and there light does count. I honestly never notice when I play, and had forgotten all about ice breaker and thorn untill Crimson. And by now you should know that Destiny pvp is not about gunskill really - more luck 😂

All burning is op. Not bc of the damage it does, but bc of how long you have low health...

Yeah, but everyone has access to burn. So even though it's annoying we all decide how to play. A burn is not guaranteed to make you win anyway.
