Thorn was OP Y1, but it's an okay weapon now. There is nothing that makes it OP or UP (Under Powered.) it's fine just the way it is now.

I would argue that the ability for it to three shot body shot someone at a higher fire rate than the first curse (which is a four shot body shot) makes it somewhat op. Takes away a lot of the finesse of having to aim for the head.

True. I personally am not a big hand cannon guy, but it still might need a slight nerf, but wouldn't that take away the exotic feel? Would it still be as powerful as the TLW or Red Death?

You can drop the damage just a bit so that way the dot brings it to the damage of the impact as normal. But the dot prevents their shields from generating for a few seconds. As well as tracking then.
