TLW is better in close range. Hawk moon is terribly unreliable. No other HC has the strengths that thorn has without any inherent weakness to offset. Thorn has some of the best range, most forgiving shot cone, a recovery disabler, tracker...I mean what else could you want. To top things off you don't even have to have good aim, three headshots vs three body shots makes no difference in the TTK. If they bring it up to Y2 it will need a slight adjustment.
