Should destiny 2 support last generation consoles

No, it'll have been over 3 years since xbox one and ps4 have come out, buy the new console or go away. Ps3 and xbox360 players are holding back the potential of the game

Your question is pointless. If they are releasing a sequel in 2017 that means they are already developing it. If it is already in development, the decision to include or exclude last gen consoles has already been made.

If they are going to support last gen up until 2017 then what was the whole point of buying the new consoles? I get that there are people who can't afford a PS4 or a Xbox One, but it is seriously time to leave last gen behind for good.

1 ReplyWhat I heard from vendors reps was 2016 was it for Xbox 360 and ps3. The systems would be supported until the end of 2016. My Sony rep and Xbox rep told me this when both xbone and ps4 dropped.

So long as they have a game engine where they can change things easily I don't think it matters, because then they can scale to power. I heard that the biggest problem was making in-world changes or developing additions to areas took weeks longer than it should due to the systems they put in place, but I don't know whether that is a result of previous gen, or the pre-launch flamingo-up.
