Should destiny 2 support last generation consoles

This shouldn't be a question. The current gen has been out for a while now. Destiny 2 is set for 2017. It's time to let last gen fade. Remember that it takes time and resources away from the dev team. They have plenty to fix for d2. Please don't distract them.

For the game to move on and have a life span of Ten years it needs to only be on next gen consoles. When the time comes for the Playstation 5 and XboxWe'reChangingStuffAndPuttingItBack then they'll need to forgot the ps4 and xb1.

No. If a console is 10 years old it shouldn't get support for what is supposed to be a leading AAA game. PlayStation has said many times that they intend for their systems to have a 10 year lifespan. Meaning they'll offer support and games through those 10 years. Well for the PS3 that means 2016 is the end. Doesn't mean you're forced to upgrade, there's still a lot of games to enjoy from last gen...you just shouldn't expect to hold back new games because you won't spend $250 on a PS4 or Xbone

Drop old gen. It's been over two years since new gen released. That is more than enough time that any new AAA game should be designed solely for the current systems.

I'm glad people are unanimous with the NOs. But why would anyone buy a console game in 2017 that's built to accommodate for 256 MB of memory, and it shows even on current gen systems?
