I love people who use Thorn in PvP scenarios.
They basically tell me "Here, look at me, I am bad. And let me show you why I am bad at this game."
Please, sir. I'll let my Ace Of Spades put you out of your misery.

I used it for a while yesterday, too. Was my favorite Y1 weapon. For PvE aspects. Just got the short end of the stick when I found out that PvP players hate this thing with the burning passion of a thousand white hot suns. I am curious though- why do players say bad players use this weapon? Is the aim assist high? Because it's just as difficult to land a shot with this weapon than it is with most others, right? I don't know, the DoT doesn't seem that annoying to me. Just makes you change your tactics. Just like when you play against players that camp until Special Ammo drops. So they can camp with 1,000 Yard Stare.

The reason they will say is because the burn will finish someone you body shot 3 times. The really reason is thorn meta flash backs. Like 'nam flashbacks but for whiny people with first world problems instead of soldiers with legit issues. It was stupid op during HoW though

Problem with Thorn is that the DoT starts to chew through players after 3 body shots to the point where it can kill you, so it doesn't encourage precision shooting for a Handcannon. People also enjoy running after landing 3 shots, which again is not okay, because they know they will kill the person from the DoT. All of that combined with a heavily distorted view when afflicted by Thorn doesn't help, the screen becoming filled with unnecessary mass afflicting the screen can throw off depth perception.

That's true! The poison effect on the HUD is really annoying. I really think they should just add a perk called 'Sun Blocked' where you don't take DoT damage from Solar based burns or Hive burns like the Wizards poison and Thorns DoT.
