You also need to take into consideration the fact that there's a limit to how far technology can actually advance.

What? The first part is talking about the "30 years" difference. Which IS said often. And....wow, legitimately dude? THATS what you're gonna say? It's different because of toys? While also implying that OT stuff is less cool? How does that work for video games then? I also doubt that X-Wings are the Apex of ship evolution, or TIE fighters.
