I really dislike when the creators of threads pointlessly reply just to bump their post up so more people see it. *insert op about to do this*

Offtopic was in chaos until the fire nation attacked

It was a normal day on b.net, you see. The Desticles were happily whining about certain things being too OP, shitposts as far as the eye can see, and the penis polls were as small as can be. My profession? Desticle Exterminator; I help keep the creatures of #Destiny in check, making sure that they're terminated as soon as they're spotted in #Offtopic. I arrived at my workplace, taking a deep breath before entering the dreaded building. Although I loved my job, my coworkers had always proven to quite a problem. I took a seat in my comfortable, little cubicle, yawning and groaning, hoping that for once, I could perform my duties without being disturbed. "Disgusting pig," I heard a feminine voice come from behind. My eyes widened, instantly recognizing the ugly tone. It was my infamous coworker...Princess Anomaly. I sighed, and turned my head back to her. "I thought you had been banned," I facepalmed, upset that the SJW was once again present, after a month of being silenced by the Ninjas, the secret police of b.net. "Yeah? Well it's gone now. You just wait until the patriarchy bans me again," she muttered, light filtering through her purple hair. "Whatever," agitated, I turned my head away from the woman. "Well, to be honest, it'll probably be a while before I'm banned again. That one sexist cis Ninja, Recon Number 54, was demoted." The hairs on my neck stood up. "What?!" I yelled worriedly. Forget Anomaly, I rushed to my boss's office as fast as I could. "Mr. Lincoln," I panted, slamming the door open. He turned to look at me, laying in his chair. "Is it true?! That Recon was demoted?!" Lincoln glared. "What evidence is there for God--I mean, Recon being demoted?" he scolded. "Well--I was just asking to see if you knew--" "I said," my impatient boss interrupted, grinding his teeth, "What evidence is there?" Frightened, I remained silent; I didn't dare look him in the eye, so I instead glued my eyes to his ginger hairline. "I thought so," he smirked, dismissing me. He got on my nerves sometimes; he was just like his father, Noiseless Purse. Well, at least I get paid more than Anomaly, probably due to the supposed "wage gap" she continuously complained about.

One girl I work with just complains constantly. Then when she actually has to work she just talks to her friend coworkers. And recently she started loudly talking about her sex life in front of everyone(customers included) and she's like 17. She's nice and all but she's just such an awful employee that I don't care if she is or not.

No bitccchhh. Every man for himself.

No, that's what makes offtopic special. That, and the occasional desticle hunt.

I dunno, I don't care about much lmao

No; it's human nature. One asshole is always going to get pissed at another.

Well, my experience here hasn't been the most pleasant, but I met some really amazing people that I truly appreciate :)

Does getting bullied count?

Bad experience with colleague: first job as it support co-worker doesn't know anything on computer except browsing facebook and youtube. Always giving excuses to the manager and I always had to do double thw job. Manager sees that I am doing to much work so hires another employee, but this one is worsw then the first one. Hehh 2 years passed and I left could not take it any longer.

Honestly my worst experiences in that sense have been on here on my AMA. And... That was honestly kinda amusing. There were even a couple of times when I managed to get along with some of the people who were initially rude. Really ain't that bad.

As a tree guy, I work in a very different environment than most. We don't have an HR department, or a long chain of command. It's basically me, the owner of the company, and our crew of about 20. So most of the time we settle our differences rather quickly by stepping out of our workyard and throwing blows with each other. Doesn't happen all the time, but it certainly happens. The reason I mention all this is because it seems like 99% of the time, the issues between each other end right there. They pick themselves up off the ground, go home, and come back the next day and all their bullshit is over. And because of this we have one of the tightest groups of people I've ever worked with in my life. These guys are like family to me. So I guess the point I'm trying to make is that sometimes the best way to move passed issues with "bad" peers is to get it all out on the table and air it all out. I'm not saying physically. But just pulling someone aside and saying "Hey man, you're pissing me off and this is why.." can do a lot towards solving your problems.

If we all got along, there would be no sexual tension. :D
