Who has the feeling that the Sunbreaker is really lackluster compared to other Subclasses after the HUGE nerf they got?
I rarely see any Sunbreakers in PvP and I played Trials all weekend long and only saw ONE godamn Titan that used the Sunbreaker. Even I, someone who loves the Sunbreaker have to force myself to use Striker in Trials to be competitive. And when I decide to use Sunbreaker in Trials my fireteam look at me like I'm suicidal, and I cant blame them because Sunbreaker is really bad right now, hammers are inconsistent and the neutral game is shit. Even the guys at PlanetDestiny, who once saw the Sunbreaker as an immortal God think that it is too weak in its current state. I even made a video about this.
So sign here if you want Bungie to buff the Sunbreaker a little so its in line with other subclasses and tell how they should buff them (bigger blast radius? Or better neutral game? Or...?)

I main a sun breaker and to me it is still the best subclass. Sticky grenades Titan skate/High agility Burn melee Super with over shield and more gold gun shots (get close and twilight Garrison maneuver, seriously the super is still broken and I wipe the enemy team nearly everytime)
-
I recently made a titan and i'm having fun with hammers in mayhem

Edited by Luis: 2/9/2016 6:08:33 PMFuk no fie the way it is now
-
The super is still really solid it just doesn't feel unstoppable now. The one that feels unstoppable now is storm trance but that's really just in enclosed spaces out in the open they are really easy targets
-
Nerf em again. Just because....BALANCE.

Serious question for other Sunbreakers: Is it standard now to require at least two hammers to take out other Supers, or was that always the case? I hope that Bungie collects stats on the percent of Sunbreakers that die with their Super activated and by what means. Because right now it's only good if you can ambush your opponent(s) or go unchallenged by other Supers, and if that's the case, I think Bungie needs to reevaluate their numbers and changes.

Just give them new passive perks
-
Suncharge + Twilight Garrison = OP

*continues to beat dead horse*

GREAT NEWS GUYS! IT WORKED! I'm going to start using it right away after I level up Defender! Y'all are the best, and I'll do my best to keep sunbreakers relevant.
-
I always theought striker was better even before nerf.
-
Again, a shameful bump!
-
Yet another shameful bump

I just want the gauntlets back D:
-
We will never get it buffed because BUNGIE IS -blam!-ING RACIST TO TITANS!!! STORMCALLERS ARE OP BUT THEY DON'T GET NERFED!!! IT FELT GOOD TO BE FEARED!

Edited by Nuclear Chevy: 2/9/2016 3:25:38 PMU make bladedancer pre nerf then u get sun breaker pre nerf its fair
-
Lol. All these people saying Sunbreakers aren't relevant. I got a reaper medal awhile ago on my Sunbreaker.. After the nerf, obviously. It was during iron banner. And I suck with Titans. I'm a warlock main, and I thought that sunbreakers were nerfed too hard. But honesty the only thing that needs fixing is the lag. When you hit someone and it does nothing... That's lag. A direct hit with a sun charge, and it not killing someone? Lag.

Edited by philbflippers: 2/9/2016 3:41:32 PMI don't play as my Titan. Never unlocked Sunbreaker so I'm talking from my experience fighting them in crucible: - In my experience it looks like sunbreakers are getting more kills from fusion grenades than the actual super - Recommendations of using sunspots instead of pre nerf builds only really seem to work when opponents are caught against a wall. -It was never the hit detection that bothered me pre-nerf, it was the fast health regen after a kill that I thought was excessive. So Bungie can bring back homing and proximity explosion to the pre-nerf stage for all I care. I hope it gets buffed again as I'm getting kinda tired of Fists of Havoc here, there and everywhere. I like variety to the crucible. The issue with Stormcaller (to an extent) and Sunbreaker is that the perks are built around a great super, and when the super is needed it throws the whole subclass off. So the neutral game for SB needs to be upped tbh.

I've seen mention of the hammers detonating earlier than they're supposed to. If this is true and the hammers have always been this way, the increased explosion radius and increased number of hammers perk may not have needed to get nerfed. Cauterize was an acceptable and expected change. Reduction is Sunstrike's burn dmg was unnecessary. How often were they gonna land a punch that wouldn't have killed you? That's IF they got the chance to land a punch without dying. The dmg reduction being toned down was expected. It's in line with Arc Blade, Stormtrance and Radiance now, which is a good thing.
-
They overdid the nerf, for sure.
-
Petition to ban all the Titan/warlock whiners about hunters on the forum.. 2 most OP classes and you wanna buf the hammers again..
-
When they fix blade dancer yes.

Edited by R0meo4125: 2/9/2016 2:01:13 PMIl tell you a couple of times where sunbreaker has failed me: 3v3 trials last round: I activate sunbreaker and aim right and enemies heads. I throw the hammers but all of em missed even though I had tracking on. 3v3 skirmish: I had my super activated for a while and got a kill already, next guy I find is a titan, I throw a hammer point blank at him and he did not die, instead it took him 2 seconds to realize that I was near him and proceeds to fist of havoc. This has happened many times. Hey a bladedancer, pop super, gets hit, I die. Other than that, Hammers are my favorite super but just underpowered.
