Deej said if we're ever going to get it, we're going to have to keep asking for it.
Bump this thread and don't let it die.
LAN, Customs, come on!
EDIT/UPDATE: It appears that Private Matches is on Bungie's Community Wish List which can be seen here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/114521210/0/0
As we monitor the conversation that happens on Bungie.net, we notice recurring themes. The list that follows is a reflection of what the players of Destiny have unanimously wished for on many occasions. Please note that this doesn’t represent our To-Do List at Bungie. While we can’t promise that every idea is being worked on, we do want to confirm that you’ve been heard. Our goal is to include you in our process wherever we can.
I just hope that if Private Matches does get implemented into Destiny, that it has all the freedom and options we had in Halo that resulted in things like Racing, Grifball, Fat Kid, Cops and Robbers, MLG, etc..
3v3 Relic Ball anyone? (Score the Relic into your opponents goal to earn points)
EDIT 2: For those who never played Halo: ALL REWARDS/BOUNTIES/STATS WILL BE TURNED OFF IN PRIVATE MATCHES LIKE THEY WERE IN HALO. LOL... THE ON/OFF SWITCH FOR THAT IS IN DESTINY'S CODE ALREADY.

Edited by MetalSkull423: 2/3/2016 1:40:03 AMThis should be dispatched immediately to prevent Alpha/Beta/Day One/Year One fans from leaving Destiny for other future Triple-A games. Halo Reach has one of the greatest custom/private matches system of all time. Well, if you look at the state of the game now, micro-transactions and small events seem to be counteracting that issue. And also, many newer players are beginning to play Destiny, at this moment. The change of CEO should shift the game into a slightly different direction than before. I still personally think firing Joe Staten and Marty O'Donnell was not really a good decision from the previous CEO. All in all, I have enjoyed the game ever since the Beta. I did have my upset and disappointed moments with factors like the frustrating RNG, lack of story, unbalanced gameplay and so on. Again, Bungie has delivered us an very interesting game lol. We did have great memories with friends, raids, PvP, receiving our most wanted rewards through surprise or effort. It was fun experience.
