As some of us know, Joseph Staten wrote the Halo story and was also in charge of creating the destiny story before it was released. But since Jason Jones and the higher members of the studio decided to scrap the story, it took them another whole year to rewrite the entire story and voiceovers to what it is now. Joseph Staten then left Bungie. Just how Martin O'Donnell did when bungie decided not to use his soundtrack.
Some cut story that might have been in the original storyline:
Charlemagne's vault:
Charlemagne would have appeared in the original story. It was a mission in which players had to retrieve a shard of his core intelligence, but he was never mentioned in the final version of the game itself. A location in the dust palace called "Charlemagne's Vault" was also supposed to appear in the game and serve as the place where players obtained thorn but this was removed.
Etc.
If you haven't gotten a clue into what I am talking about, then watch the link provided above.
What do you guys feel about this?
Would destiny been better off with Joseph Staten's version of destiny?
Please answer the poll so I may know which story you prefer over the one we are given today.
This poll was made because of how bored I am with destiny.
How can we know what to vote if no one has seen the original? Of course it would have been probably better than the one we got (wouldn't be hard) , but it must have been pretty bad if they scrapped it entirely so close to launch
