BUMP IT TO THE MAX
I have previously stated that bungie can't balance only nerf it to the ground. They need to do it little by little, but that will require patience by all you Gaurdians.
And about elemental primaries why not make it random. I would say that it would be a good idea. Say I finished a nightfall or raid or something and got...let's say a legendary scout rifle. It could have arc, solar, or void damage. It would be rng based, but it would make it so people could use different guns.

I like this idea. But, it would still be the same elemental primary (in your example, a scout rifle). The only thing that would change is the element. This was not the problem. The problem was that everyone was using Fatebringer, VoC, AE and Oversoul. Unless you do something similar to what the OP said, you will still have the same problem that Luke "The Idiot" Smith couldn't figure out a half decent way to fix. Elements must infuse into other primaries or everyone will use the same gun, and the Idiot will take them from us again. That is, unless Luke leaves Bungie. Please, please leave Bungie! I would throw money at the screen to see him leave Bungie
