The man looks at him, and grins once more
"Ah, a Federation general. I have some questions for you...once I kill everyone else here, of course."-Golden
The skies above start to cloud, and strange shadow-like creatures start appearing, killing Alliance and Federation troops alike. The man pulls out an axe, and walks towards Phadrus. The Alliance troops start taking more extreme defense positions upon recognizing the man. One of them, a SilverPulse known as Crusher, recognizes Golden immediately and starts running up to him to engage. The Dark Hunter droids send in a force Vahki towards the creatures to draw their attention, however the shades keep appearing across the battlefield in ever growing numbers
This won't end well for both the Alliance and the Federation.
Phaedrus recognizes the sudden shift in he tide of battle, and realized what the Federation requires. Federation lines still support him, but their flanks begin to peel off, and a few more ships enter orbit. He finally charged at the figure and swings a savage downward strike, the plasma making the air whistle and crackle as it moved.
-
*Golden easily dodges the attack, and hits him hard with his axe, forcing Phadrus back. Despite the extra forces, the shade numbers still outnumber them by an incalculable amount. They start to spawn on the ships in orbit as well, starting to destroy the fleet. Golden looks at Phadrus with a insane look in his eyes "Now, you will fall."-Golden *before he can strike a killing blow, he is hit in the face by Crusher, who pulls out his hammer "Golden? Why am I not surprised?"-Crusher *Golden pulls out another axe and looks at both of them "The pleasure is mine, Crusher. However, now both of you will fall."-Golden

Edited by GingerlyWalnut3: 2/6/2016 12:10:41 AMPhaedrus was surprised by the man's strength, but wouldn't make the same mistake again. Using telekinesis, he pulls the axe hand down as he runs towards the man, and with a vicious backhanded strike, knocks him aside like a toy. He could've stabbed him, but decided to toy with the figure for what he did to his men. He turns to Golden, and simply forces him aside as he moves to attack Crusher again.

Edited by SilverPulse620: 2/6/2016 12:54:07 AM*dozens of shades grab onto Phadrus, ripping off his armor one piece of a time. Golden looks to Phadrus "He is not yours to kill. He is mine."-Golden *he rips his axe out of Phadrus's hand and starts fighting Crusher "Traitor."-Crusher "You are still upset about that? It's been years, man."-Golden *he hits Crusher to the ground and kicks him "Shades of Entropy, kill everyone."-Golden(screaming to the shades) *the shades continue to rip through all the Alliance and Federation forces, and many Alliance troops start going to their transports, using their wormhole drives to escape the system. They must have know the shades were going to do something...
And before you say it, wormhole tech is not the same as warp tech. They aren't effected by warp scramblers or whatever the Federation was using to blockade the planet.
In a blast of energy, Phaedrus disintegrates all of the Shades around him, shifting his helmet back into position. The effort exhausted him, but he'd still he'd able to use a sword just fine.
-
*Golden looks back to Phadrus and seems interested "I am impressed. I thought you were just another mindless pawn, but it seems Entropy was right about you. Perhaps I may let you live, only to send the Federation a message."-Golden *Crusher gets up, and faces him "What are you planning to do, Golden? You can't stop the Alliance and the Federation, even if they are fighting each other as well."-Crusher "You will see. Entropy has plans for both of your peoples."-Golden *despite the efforts of either side, the shades keep coming in an endless swarm. Golden sets him body aflame and prepares to attack. Crusher readies himself

Shades, trust dark powers to leave the answer to counter their own men. Shades went to fight the Russians so they used light. Fire and lasers purged the shadows. The rail guns of the heavy tanks fired more out of curtesy than to destroy them. There would be no stepping back, the seventh army made advances elsewhere and met laughable resistance. Their heavy armor more than capable of taking the hits and dishing out worse ones. The shades on the ships were the first repulsed, the mighty seventh fleet suffered minimal losses, a frigate and a destroyer. The seventh kept fighting, showing the alliance how real soldiers fought and died.
realize I consider the seventh army a character in its own right, it's not being destroyed any time soon.
Edited by SilverPulse620: 2/6/2016 12:58:18 AM*the creatures seem unaffected by the light based weapons or any of the other weapons the Alliance or Federation throws at them, and continue to rip through the Federation and Alliance forces like a hot knife through butter, killing everything in their path and destroying everything around and on the planet
They aren't darkness based life forms. They are based on a matter from a matter from another universe, so the weapons of light will just annoy them. You may want to call your men to retreat before they get destroyed.
-
fire and lasers. Those will burn things like matter. I'm not a scientist but I understand what happens when you heat matter and no I will not retreat. You're not going to walk over my faction.
The shades were being eradicated, the Russians pressed onwards.

Edited by SilverPulse620: 2/6/2016 2:17:56 PM*as the troops press forward, the matter of the creatures reform back into more powerful shades. The Alliance troops start to pull back, seeming to know what these creatures are planning to do
This is not like any matter from this universe. They are just going to keep coming. They are an endless swarm. Your only hope of survival is to retreat. Besides, Phadrus said he had plans to destroy the planet. And I'm not letting you walk all over Entropy's forces either. Looks like we are at a draw. You will have plenty of other times to defeat the Alliance. I promise.

These aren't weapons of light, they're plasma and ballistics. If you're characters are immune to our weaponry, then I'm calling BS. One does not simply call BS and get away with it.
-
They aren't immune, they simply are extremely powerful, a force for both the Alliance and Federation to be afraid of.

Also, if you are criticizing me for making a force OP, you may want to talk with your friend Pavel. He made his force the very definition of OP.
