Dismantling Legacy Exotics

Hey, simple lil question Ive googled around and haven't found anything recent enough.. been wondering; If I dismantle my level 20 ThunderLord, will I be given an exotic shard to upgrade my current lvl 40 exotics? Thanks for the read, any & all replies are appreciated peace

You should get one exotic shard. A year 2 exotic piece should give you two if its fully upgraded. "Should".
