[b]TL;DR-[/b]Side arms, Icebreaker, and Invective will not be an effective way to get special ammo in any game mode. They will become very popular but not for dying and switching for ammo. ——————————————————————— Side arms are designed with low initial ammo so if you switch, even when dead, you will not have special ammo on any other special. Yes, you get 2 clips. No, you will not have any sniper, shotgun, or fusion rifle ammo upon switch. [spoiler]This was tested by me upon the beginning weeks of TTK. Any proof I'm wrong will be appreciated.[/spoiler] Invective takes a while to get 4 in the clip. It does take a while, this will cause you to wait ~20 seconds [spoiler]Never actually timed how long it takes.[/spoiler] for 4 shots. So you'll be waiting 40 seconds to have a decent amount of ammo upon death switch. They only effective one is Icebreaker and even then you need to wait until it reaches to 4 shots before it'll conserve ammo. 4×7s is 28seconds without using the gun just to die to switch for a measly couple shots on a shotgun, fusion, sidearm, or other sniper. These weapons will not be used to acquire special ammo in the crucible for other weapons... These will be the weapons used for kills.
