About a week later...
A city had been built up. The old Rebellion base was destroyed by the Feds, they had won through stealth...cowardly but effective tactics. Then again, the Rebellion was about to make their life on Archon much, much harder.

"Turn it on, Bobby."
He appeared. Over all the bilboards, on all the TVs, over all the radios, over everything and anything that had a screen. Spectre, his hands folded in front of him, skeleton mask pulled over his mouth and chin, helmet covering all but his eyes, nose and mouth. The massive man spoke in a deep, yet hurt voice.
"Congratulations on your victory, Feds. From what I heard, you killed many of my troops. A good win in my book."
He paused, sighing as if he was about to reveal something disturbing, wrong and wretched.
"But...your crimes will not go unpunished...."
The screens cut to footage of Federation forces destroying Soblath, executing civilians. Even the women and children.
"No last rights. No burial. No true peace after death. This is what the Federation does to the families of my men and women of the service."
The footage continued, getting darker and more disturbing. Looting, r@pe and drunken war were shown on the screens as he continued to speak.
"You call us monsters, terrorists and traitors. Look at what you and your poor excuses for men have done."
The screen switched back to him, four armed guards behind him.
"This is why we fight. This is our call. This is our duty."
The screens cut black, then go back to normal.
The civilians recoil in shock and horror and awe. Within hours, there are calls into the police about invasion, protesting, theft, riots and all out chaos. Spectre had done exactly as he wished, set upset to a Federation world....and the civilians were turning on the Feds....

Captain Jaeger watched the broadcast from the War Room on the Hand of Judgement, which still hung in low orbit above the planet Hmph. Cause mass hysteria to cause chaos and insurgency. Instant recruits. The rebels aren't dim, I'll hand them that. Can the signal be traced? "No sir. They routed it through a Black Relay, leaving no Trans-Warp signals." "Sir, the Commander has initiated martial law on Archon." Fine. that'll control the populace for the time being. In the meantime, rework the signal coming to and from Archon, along with other Federation Worlds in the Sector. Make sure this doesn't occur again. "Yes, Captain Jaeger." The intelligence officers began to work, while Jaeger stared at the person on the screen That is your duty, Eh? Well let me show you mine.

Edited by Python824: 2/5/2016 3:24:45 AMRiots and chaos still destroyed the planet of Archon, martial law only slowing the rebels. Rumors of training camps inside the city had been passed around. None were confirmed, but the former civilians were getting armed and trained somehow, sometimes even winning against the Feds in a shootout. They'd then melt away back into the city. No one gave up any names or clues...the Rebellion was only getting stronger from this, and this was just the beginning...

Edited by Bardo XCIX: 2/5/2016 3:41:22 AM"Orders from the Commander. Prepare to broadcast." What? Video feeds from Fed soldiers on the ground began to transmit to the Inner Worlds, and select Outer Worlds It showed the rebelling civilians destroying buildings, and firing on troops, killing them before taking their weapons "Sir the Commander has ordered a Planetary Bombardment. Archon is considered lost." That rash fool. You din't broadcast war.. The feed then showed the rebels raiding a weapons facility, killing what appeared to be civilians helping injured Feds, before shots loud booms were heard, followed by flashes in the sky, then static "Broadcast has ended, Captain Jaeger." Then it's time to sweep through. Fireteam Null descended onto the bombed city, having been cleared of civilians before the attack, during night The broadcast had increased support for the Federation among the Inner Worlds and some Outer Worlds, while also showing the consequences of rebellion to the remaining

The Outer Worlds was a total backfire, as more riots and rebels attacked more Federation troops. The Outer Worlds were being lost, and planetary bombardment would only lead to more rebels for the cause. Civilians that were evacuated were primarily civilians, some were rebels acting like civilians. They attacked the Fed guards the best they could. Civilians that watched their home planet destroyed by the Feds cried with hatred and anger, lashing out at the guards on the transports, one of the transports even being stolen, taken over by the civilains. Comms were disconnected, the transport was dark and unheard-of. The Inner Worlds watched with frowns on their faces as the planet was decimated. Murmurs and rumors spread, about the Feds being too violent and cruel, but the rich and spoiled didn't do much to attempt to stop them. Spectre had played one of his aces, however, his Ace of Spades remains hidden... The real question is; How many does he have?
