Loot tables on Nightfall...
My same fire team has done the Weekly Nightfall strike two weeks in a row, and both times two of us got nothing in the drops/loot or Rewards to add value beyond the value of breaking down the loot & rewards while the third member got a 310 Mida Multi-tool last week and a 310 Hard Light this week. There seems to be no rhyme or reason, no specific actions or other play style behavior to merit exotic loot versus "crap." I could say the same about the Crucible, but I believe that's a whole other headache to deal with. For now, could you tell us what merits exotic loot or a greater chance of obtaining exotic loot/rewards from the weekly Nightfall strike? And yes, we all popped our Three of Coins at the same time, with none of us receiving exotic drops. And yes, I'm also jealous because I've sought out those two specific exotics since year 1 and still haven't managed to "luck" into them. :) Seriously, though - what is your algorithm or criteria for rewards at the end?

Same thing happens to me all the time. I had someone join almost at the very end and he gets a 310 light weapon and I just get a 294 ghost shell. He only killed like 5 enemies while me and another person grind through the whole strike. How does something like that work.

3 RepliesHi Barkode The nightfall rewards table is all RNG. There are no actions user side that will effect whether you will receive an exotic at the end of the run or an emote or maybe a ghost shell. It is all one big loot table and rng roll to decide what is giving. Also 3 of coins is a completely different mechanism. That has it's own percentage of drop chance that rolls when you kill and ultra. So that also wont influence your end reward as well. I hope that clears things up a bit ^_^
