I made this in response to my other post so I can see how many people are in favor or are against the idea or my method.

I'm not in favor of crafting at all. It feels like it doesn't fit Destiny's idiom, so to speak. I can see where you can argue that it's appropriate, but it is adding depth of the wrong kind. Where Destiny needs depth (IMO, of course) is in the missions you undertake, not in crafting stations. Adding crafting is one of those "rearranging the deck chairs" things -- it adds complexity for no overall improvement to the game. One of the things about Destiny that I still find attractive is that it's uncluttered with that sort of thing: I don't have to build a base, or craft my weapons, or my armor -- I just discard old crap and put on better stuff if I find it. If there was more in-game lore, more missions, and (a man can dream) maybe some dynamic or procedurally-generate missions, it would be a far more effective driver to continue playing. As it is, all i do most of the time is PvP, or farm the occasional Taken Champion for a yellow ball to drop.
