I have an idea that could work out depending on how it's implemented. Here it is. Along the lines of Etheric Light, they release something I decided to call "Infused Light" which could be used to upgrade a piece of year 1 gear to to year 2. You'd only get one per account, like the spark used to level up a character to 25. How you get it would be up to Bungie. Whether it's through a long difficult quest line, a random drop or just in your mailbox. Personally I'd probably bring over my Vision of Confluence but I'm sure you'd see a lot of Gjallarhorns, Fatebringers and Thorns. What do you all think?
