The short woman standing at the podium hardly seemed like any sort of military leader, much less a prominent one, yet Mara Tanaka was one of the premier Field Commanders of the Rebellion, who had recently been taken from behind Federation lines in a prison break. She had returned with files, important ones that could very well change the course of the war. She cleared her throat, and began to speak.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to thank you once again for ensuring my safety. As you already know, I had escaped with previously classified files, mostly on Fed movements and the like, but I've also collected some interesting information on a few particular phenomenon. First, there has been Federation movement on some sort of anomalous planet, which doesn't appear on any of our star maps... Or even theirs. However, they've clearly gathered some Intel on what they've been doing on this planet: attempting to reverse engineer Imperial bioweapons. We cannot, under any circumstances, allow them to have them.
Secondly, we have received word that there has been a large bounty placed on a starship in the Outer Rim... By a Federation General. We know the Feds, they don't like using mercs unless they have to, so whoever this person is, we need to find them and bring them back alive. Who knows what they may have to offer. "
She pauses here,
"And lastly, I'd like to solidify our fears here for a second: even with Alliance backup, we cannot hope to win this kind of war, against this kind of force. We don't know the location of any Federation HQs, and we don't know the identities of any of their military leaders... Besides one. I'm sure you've all heard of the name Phaedrus before."
Some muttering goes on in the crowd,
"He is the epitome of what we fight against. He is cruel, cold, calculating, and utterly ruthless. Unfortunately, he's also brilliant, and one of the most inspirational Federation fighters. If we can take him out and bring him back, dead or alive, then we will have struck the Federation a significant blow. Normally, he'd be untouchable, but we have word that he was last sighted on the nearby planet of Helios, a planet that we recently recaptured. He's behind enemy lines, and vulnerable. Any questions?... Good. Sign ups for these missions are over by the weapon Kiosk. Dismissed."
(Open. Sign up for the mission you'd like.

Gwen Maximum leans against a wall, her hands in her pockets and a smirk on her face. "I'd be glad to knock some Fed heads together." She spoke with a Russian accent, and at the mention of the Federation her eyes glinted red for a moment.
-
Mara looks over at her as the crowd dispersed, "Well, don't we all. That's why we're gonna win this war: we all have a cause to fight for. So, what mission seems up your alley?"
-
"Anything that includes their deaths."
-
"Well... All of them do. Were you listening to the presentation? I didn't come out of bacta treatment for nothing."
-
"Just set me up for a random one. I don't care."

There are three kiosks, each with a different mission. Soldiers are given free reign of what mission they will choose, and they will be allowed freedom in how they execute the mission as well.

She crosses her arms, very interested, "Alright, shoot."

"Don't actually shoot me, but I was a federation project meant to help pacify crowds, I was built on their capital world, but they have given me files...." He hands you a small drive He then nods to you and goes to sign up

Spectre was at the meeting, in a suit and tie and surrounded by armed guards. They followed him as he stepped up to Mara. "You've been doing good?" His face was closely shaved, smooth and soft.
-
She gives him a weary smirk, "I thought those damn bastards had me for a second. I was only in the Rift for 33 hours, but every moment was hell. I don't know how some of those inmates survived the entire trip."
-
"As am I." He smiles in return. "It's good to have you back. I assume you're not going on either of those missions?"
-
She pulls up her sleeves, revealing large lacerations that will scar badly when they recover. "I just came out of bacta treatment for this. I'm probably due back there, but I don't mind the pain. Doesn't mean I'm ready to go back in the field anytime soon, but I'm at least able to walk around."
-
He nods. "I understand. Don't push yourself and listen to the doctors, alright?"
-
She laughs, "I won't be too much of a bitch, if that's what you're asking. I'll see you around Spec."
-
"See you later, Mara." Dan walks away towards the weapons kiosk, the guards staying close to him.
