So I've been playing Destiny for a long time and absolute love the game, but for the the last few months since I have moved I have been getting disconnected constantly. Which is annoying of course, the hours and money I have put into this game...
The internet I have is better than the old one so I see no issue to why it has difficult connecting, I have many solutions, port forwarding the Xbox and my Hub but both don't work.
(I am unable to do anything with the internet as its a shared house)
Just posting this to see if other people have had this issue and got it fixed? Please let me know, want to play this again...

Hello Madshot, I'm sorry to hear that you're having connection issues. Sometimes these are intermittent and just happen once, or for a short period of time, due to network conditions between you, Bungie, and other players. Other times it can be related to your home network, other devices connected to your network, or the connection with your ISP. Take a look at our Network Troubleshooting Guide to learn how to get the optimal network setup for playing Destiny. Even when other games seem to be working fine we've found that Destiny may require a few tweaks to your network to get the best performance.

I've been having the same problem too and the error code is Marion berry. I even follow the troubleshooting steps and it still happening. But every time I got a chance to log in i think i lost all my glimmer. I was at max and now I only have around 1000 of glimmer.

I've been having this same problem. I'm plugged directly into my internet and while in the middle of a crucible match or raid I randomly get disconnected. This caused me and my trials team to lose our 8-0 multiple times. This only started happening to me in early january

Edited by Oc3lots47: 2/5/2016 5:23:20 AMCouldn't log in because it said the servers weren't available, logged in on second attempt, spawned into a blow out game of control, immediate Weasel error on end game. EDIT: I'm also convinced that Destiny servers are causing my Xbox to disconnect from the internet completely (wired connection). Everything will run just fine until I start playing Destiny. Other devices connected to the same router through wifi are unaffected.

I have a feeling that it has more to do with Bungie's MM update. Are you getting DC'd when you're trying to connect to any public areas? The reason why I suspect this is that I had a fireteam that would allow one person to connect then get booted when another person connected, and vice versa. It only happened between two specific people. I didn't pay attention to what their latency was at the time, but I suspect the algorithm used in the update is preventing players that match the negative criteria from being able to play on the same team...its just a hunch though.

Are you using wireless internet, or do you have an ethernet cable running from your router to your console?
