Teammates who wait so you get heavy too
Can we take a moment of thanks to the genuine nice people who wait for you to get heavy with them. Truly you are the real MVP'S xD
Most teammates grab it quick and don't care but when multiple people grab the heavy it can change the game. So kudos to all the good teammates out there
Edit: Throw in people who use their supers to secure it for the team too :D

This! The amount of times i've been within sight and they take the heavy is unreal! If i'm by it i will check my radar and if see team mates moving in will hold off as long as possible until they are there. If however i see a load of red moving in, i grab the heavy and high tail it outta there so at least they dont get it!!

I had my entire team bunched around Heavy once, and I was way back, making a mad dash to it. I kept thinking "I'm going to be that one person missing out." Nope. They waited. :') [spoiler]Sometimes a sacrifice is necessary... I say charge that enemy lone wolf plopped on the Heavy crate. Scare him into taking it all on his own. Then kill or be killed. 'least their entire team won't have it.[/spoiler]

Or someone who has been waiting close by Nova Bombs/Fist of Havocs everyone just when everyone is waiting for that last guy. Personally, I'll angle myself and look around the map. If I see people dead with respawn timers around or under 5 seconds, I'll wait a bit. Or if I see a couple team mates through the walls nearby and obviously making it over. But I won't wait more than 5-10 seconds... it's just putting everyone in harm's way. I'd rather blast the person coming to kill us all and save lives than wait for everyone to arrive.

You're welcome! Only time I pop it is if a super is rushing me and I know I'm not going to outgun them, just so they can't get it. I think that's pretty reasonable.

Your welcome I also run to the enemies grab it usually die but the distraction throws them off for a bit

1 ReplyPlaying Iron Banner I was on a 22 kill streak, I Nova Bombed the enemy heavy and was ready to pick it up, my friend says "hey Grizz don't pick it up I'm almost there" so I'm patiently waiting, a guy fist of havoc's me while I'm waiting, picks up the heavy and wiped our entire team in about 3 seconds. That's what I get for being a nice guy. Lol ;_;

I always wave at them after we all picked it up. Or do the applaud emote :D Those are the real MVPs of the crucible. Also the ones who run in front of you and clear the path if you grab the spark.

A sincere thank you to those who waited. Sometimes it is wise not to wait, especially when the full enemy team is rushing for the same heavy ammo crate. Just grab it, let them kill you but they don't have any heavy ammo to wipe my team.

I'd rather they grab it before an enemy shows up instead of waiting forever by it.

I agree but if there is any enemy on the radar I expect them to grab it quickly.

I try my damnedest to wait, but I'll definitely pull heavy if I start seeing red. I've died so many times waiting for a teammate to show up... Better to deny the other team heavy if you can.

I decided to skate right between a full team who was about to get heavy, while my mate distracted them and stole it from them, I instantly died but it was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever done..

spawned nexr to it chdcked my radar saw a dude spawn and waited. took him 12 seconds but it was worth it cause it won us the match.

i hate the pricks who know your coming for heavy, its always that one random guy who isn't in your fireteam takes it before you can get it

For most game modes I'll wait for red like many on here. For rift however, my teammates and I agree to pull the heavy as soon as you can. In a capture the flag mode you gotta make sure the opponent doesn't get both heavies and if you can keep them from getting any you gain a larger advantage than you do in other modes. JMO

I always tend to wait as long as I can. I next to never use it anyways and tend to run to the wrong one where the enemy is. So I like to save supers for heavy. But then days like today where I want to break out the lmg I wait. I'll even try my damnest to hold off any enemies coming my way while waiting for everyone to revive.

I rarely played a match where the guy at the heavy didnt wait for most of us to get to it, unless the other team was closing in fast in which case i would just yell OPEN IT ALREADY!!! Lol

1 ReplyThey are the best, i always wave or dance with them as a thank you lol The assholes that just take it when it's not being contested get chased and punched repeatedly I have and will jump in front of your rocket so you die, idgaf if it hurts the team, you taking the heavy hurt us more lol
