Can we take a moment of thanks to the genuine nice people who wait for you to get heavy with them. Truly you are the real MVP'S xD
Most teammates grab it quick and don't care but when multiple people grab the heavy it can change the game. So kudos to all the good teammates out there
Edit: Throw in people who use their supers to secure it for the team too :D

I try to wait but no matter what people will get made at me because of you take too long then the enemy team will already be here so I have to at least keep them from getting the heavy.
-
The only time I don't wait is when the enemy charges our heavy
-
I allways try to wait for at least 2 others to come and share that heavy with me. Problem often is that the one who comes first immediately takes the heavy and rushes off instead of waiting with me. If enemy is closing in and nobody of my team is near I just take it. Get killed by rockets most of the time, but at least they didn't get double heavy.
-
Hmm, ya if I'm being honest I don't wait. Maybe I should, but Im more concerned that the other team doesn't get heavy more than I am that my team gets heavy.

Edited by 123: 2/2/2016 11:34:46 AMEveryone should be there when it spawns. Waiting for it allows the enemy an opportunity to wipe us all out.
at 3 seconds till heavy, I start holding square.
If I see any reds and have no blue support, it means we have a shot at both heavies, so I take it. If I see any reds and have blue support, I try and kill the reds first and let the blueberries decide. If they take the heavy, so do I. If they kill reds with me, then we wait for more blues afterwards. If I see no red and don't have all my blues along with me, I wait and let the blueberries decide. If they wait for more blues, great. If they take it, it's on them.
-
What I hate is when they stand on the heavy for five minutes waiting for the whole team to get there. By the time the 6th is there the other team has gotten to your heavy as well and kills all 6.
-
I always wait until very last minute even if I'm gonna get killed, if I'm on my own and someone's coming with rockets I may take it just to prevent them having two crates of it
-
Thats the only thing I hated playing solo, many a time I see one of my team mates pick up the heavy when i wasn't too far from him but yet far enough away I couldn't get any. And nope no red boys around. I usually wait for others to come get heavy but If I see red I take it right away.
-
The only time I don't wait is if there is a lot of the enemy team rushing that heavy. I pick it to help the team from not dying. But I usually wait.
-
Its a tough one this i think. Obvs if teammates are sprinting for it and theres no red i always wait. If teammates are miles off and i see any red im out of there with heavy. Once you see red on a lot of maps you're well within range of a sniper/super.
-
congrats on finding a player who waits. Rarer, than a well received Bungie weekly update.
-
You saw any?
-
I wouldn't class them as nice, more that they're not stupid. Only dribblers snag heavy instantly when there's no enemy around. I will grab it just to spite the enemy if theres lots of red on my radar. Better that i get it and die than 4 enemy team mates get it.
-
Some of these people are lying! Kappa
-
If i'm there alone I wait for a little bit If nobody is there (even when there's no enemies) I grab it and go Holding it there for each second is the other team grabbing theirs and pushing towards ours. Sooo.....
-
I always wait until i see red, Then i grab. I prefer we get it and they dont. But if theres no red, i wait till all arrive.
-
I don't bickup heavy ammo i just stand next to it and wait for a team-mate to get it
-
Selfishly taking heavy was especially bad during IB this week. There's just less enemy poachers on the heavy spawns because instead of being spread out over the usual two or three zones in Control, most everyone is battling at the Spark spawn about the same time heavy is spawning. As a result there were a lot of extremely selfish players taking heavy the split second it spawned even though the entire enemy is on the other side of the map.
-
It is such a nice feeling when someone is kind enough to wait for you to get to the heavy. Understandably, there are times when taking it for yourself is necessary, like if the enemy is about to get it. Even in Strikes, in the Undying Mind and Sunless Cell Strikes people have a good habit of waiting for the others to catch up if they are ahead so everyone can get the heavy, really nice to see in both PvE and PvP. I definitely always wait as long as I can.
-
I try to wait. The only time I pull heavy early is when my radar lights up with red in all directions and I don't see my teammates anywhere in sight. I'd rather pull it so the opposing team doesn't get it.
-
I will take immediatelly if it is a choice between me only or the enemy gets it.
-
How rad would it be if both teams could veto heavy dropping during the MM lobby like other games do maps.
-
I was playing IB last week and was waiting for the heavy. It had two seconds left and red blips were all over the radar. As soon as the timer ran out, a teammate hit his FoH and killed the enemy team. I waited for him to get back to grab heavy and he sent me a message saying thanks for waiting. Teamwork people, it's how you win.

This! The amount of times i've been within sight and they take the heavy is unreal! If i'm by it i will check my radar and if see team mates moving in will hold off as long as possible until they are there. If however i see a load of red moving in, i grab the heavy and high tail it outta there so at least they dont get it!!
