Can we take a moment of thanks to the genuine nice people who wait for you to get heavy with them. Truly you are the real MVP'S xD
Most teammates grab it quick and don't care but when multiple people grab the heavy it can change the game. So kudos to all the good teammates out there
Edit: Throw in people who use their supers to secure it for the team too :D

You're welcome.
-
I love those guys. They give me time to do stuff like this :)
-
Yessssss^^^^^^
-
I had a lot of uncontested Rift ignites because the enemy team was dicking around waiting for heavy instead of defending.
-
I hate seeing it in the near distance...one person on it...then they grab it and run away. :/ I shoot at them to annoy them.
-
Haha yess :'D
-
I always wait even defend the ammo as long as I can, but sometimes you have to cut your losses and just take the damn ammo.
-
Agreed- however, why the -blam!- do we have to be within 3 damn steps of the crate to get the drop??!! -blam!-ing retarded as it sets a team up to be obliterated by an enemy super. If a teammate gets the crate the ammo should drop for all allies- regardless of where they are in the map.
-
Nothing like 2 guys picking up heavy ammo under no pressure to get it
-
Thank you and you're welcome :)
-
Bump!
-
the pickup time and radius should be increased a bit more.... after action screen too....its nice to see stats before getting thrown into a overwhelming match....
-
I try to wait but if there's an more than one person coming for me I just take it cause I would rather have only one person in our team have heavy then let both of heavys go to the enemy's team
-
Amen. Played with a fireteam of 5. The #6 grabbed the heavy as soon as it spawned while we were just outside reach. We all left. fk him :P
-
Not trying to sound like an a' hole here but I'm not good at pvp, but even I know where and when the heavy is. So wouldn't it be possible to assume that the team mate's that don't show up at the time of spawn are just plain old stupid? If there is more to it, please let me know, because it makes no sense to me why a good player would not be there ready for it.
-
I usually try to get a good location to snipe and defend the crate from a distance until my teammates arrives and open the crate; then I blink my way to take my share! When is not possible to snipe, I just wait for my team to arrive. I take it alone when the enemy team is all over me and no teammate near, just to not let them take it. Teamwork=Good Strategy
-
I'll save it but if enemies are rushing the heavy I'll run up grab it and kill as many as I can even if it means I kill myself
-
Screw heavy. I stopped using it about a week ago
-
I usually go for opposing heavy, so I'll pull it and assume my team is capable of pulling one
-
Look I try to wait, but at some point it becomes a liability to do so. Frankly I hate the heavy round in this game, in part to how distracting it is and how easy it is to swing a game with. I really don't like HMGs being on the field for the entire game. --------So yeah I'll try to wait, but it's more important to me to deny the enemy power. It's not fun being killed by heavy, there's no back and forth it's just dumb and not fun. Yeah sure being on the opposite end of it is less frustrating but it's still just as dumb. Also yeah as someone already said, it's not rewarding to actually defend the point, because it only gives you ammo if you are close enough. Which close enough is right next to everyone else near the box just in case the enemy wants to super all of you. It's forced high kill potential and it's stupid.

The real heroes.
-
I'll sometimes die trying to save heavy for teammates even if it means the teammate getting it and me not. And I'll keep doing that. (:
-
I wait as long as possible... often die because I wait too long to grab it. I does deny heavy to multiple enemies when that happens, and sometimes I can just shoot at my feet quickly and take a few with me.
-
I'm evil... I make a point of stealing the oppositions heavy.... Most of the time I'll die with an wicked smile on my face. And I will always wait for my fellow team mates when heavy is up as it can turn the battle.
-
I hate though how you have to be under 20m away now to grab it too it used to be like 30 or 40
-
I have noticed a rise in Guardians waiting for team mates at the Heavy lately, finally the PVE crowd is getting it 😄
