Can we take a moment of thanks to the genuine nice people who wait for you to get heavy with them. Truly you are the real MVP'S xD
Most teammates grab it quick and don't care but when multiple people grab the heavy it can change the game. So kudos to all the good teammates out there
Edit: Throw in people who use their supers to secure it for the team too :D

I hope they are running a rocket launcher. Because I follow them and jump in front of them. Hey, paybacks a bitch.

Preach

I admit that if there are 2 or more enemies coming at me I take it. I'll try to fend off one though and I always wait if it's clear.
happy heavy guys :)
-
I like it when they wait for more teammates but there's been times where they wait to long and the enemy team kills everybody. I rather just see us get it and not them so run and grab is ok in my book.

Edited by IRaidWithAussies: 2/2/2016 9:16:58 AMWhen multiple people listen to Heavy Ammo Incoming and when multiple people notice the GIANT PURPLE LOGO and TIMER It can change a game Jesus, have you played Halo before? There isn't multiple rocket launchers, you actually have to care about it, not expect someone else to grab it for you That being said, Kudos

I throw a Vortex Nova Bomb on a chokepoint by heavy to hold it off.
-
I usually Lodge a tripmine or a lightning Grenade near the heavy if I'm alone and there is a chance of getting supered. Denying heavy to the opposition if your team can't get it is also crucial.
-
Gotta love that heavy
-
I try to wait for my team. But if there's enemies coming my way, then I'm going to take. :/
-
I never even reach the heavy. While waiting there, or while heading to the heavy I'm always killed before I can pick it up.
-
I always wait unless enemy is near, or no one grabs it and pass along. Most fo the time, I go invis and steal the enemy heavy
-
I would also like to thank the teammates who don't make you wait, because they are already there...you the the real MVP...
-
Hurts a bit when your defending heavy, only to be supered. When salt levels rise, I start just picking up the heavy.... There's 3 kind of blueberries when talking about heavy, those that wait, those that pick it up instantly and those that don't even realize there's heavy ammo crates that spawn on a timer....
-
I always wait, or at least until I see red on the radar then it's game on.
-
np buddie.
do unto others, as you wish be done to you

amirite? huh huh? lol
-
I didn't see that happen once when I played solo, only time was when I was playing with my friends.
-
i wait as long as i can, even if no one is close i'll just linger by it for a bit, but if red appears on the radar i normally grab it and run. i hate it when players just grab it alone even when theres a few others clearly close enough for them to wait!
-
I'll wait for someone but sometimes I see an enemy and I'll take it to deny them heavy. (I've waited for someone just to have the enemy kill me and take it)
-
I wait cause I run sword my teammates like me
-
I always wait, as i am a -blam!- up when in heavy round.

Edited by KidSixXx: 2/2/2016 3:53:43 PMI got a Slayer in the Rift IB by GGing everyone waiting for Heavy. I know it is courteous and all, but waiting too long can get your entire team wiped. It is also not such a great idea to wait for heavy in Rift matches when the spark is nearly up. My team lost a match in overtime when four members ran off to camp heavy while the entire enemy team burned past me and another defender and style dunked on our Rift. Use your head and judge your time and position when Shaxx calls for purple. Don't let running for Heavy become a conditioned reflex.
-
It does "feel" nice, but I don't wait for the rest of my team to be nice as much as I do it because 5 of us with heavy will ensure a win much more than 1 of us with heavy. Use your team to your advantage, guardians.
-
It's always awesome when someone waits. I wait for people when I do decide for heavy ammo, but it's nice to see someone wait for others while getting heavy ammo. *gives thumbs up*
-
I'm always grateful that someone will wait, as the more people with heavy on our team, the better chance of us rolling their team up. However, I'm not quick to be angry if I miss it because waiting on the heavy is like popping smoke on a target and waiting for the AC-130 to go to work. A pain train is coming, it's just a matter of how long you wait that determines if you get hit by it or not. When I'm on party chat with a team, half the time I find myself screaming, "Pop it don't wait! Pop it don't wait!" into my mike as I run to the heavy because I know what's coming and I'm just out of get their fast range.

You're welcome.
