FYI you don't even need The Ram or a Solar Chestpiece to tank a Golden Gun shot in normal Crucible. Just be sure to have maximum Subclass armor and have Radiant Skin in use. In level-advantage game modes you're probably going to need The Ram since Golden Gun scales pretty quickly in damage.
