As it's been said recently between YouTubers, forum members, and just in general players, we're at a dry point in Destiny. Content is boring now that it's been overplayed. Events are only temporary and while they may bring back players to revitalize them a bit to play the game again.. again, they're just temporary.
Players have wanted back old content, at least I know a good amount of us have. There just isn't a reason to actually play the old content, or it's not added into any of the playlists (Cough cough, strikes..)
So why not revive the old Raids, Prison of Elders, and Strikes?
Strikes should just be added into the Heroic playlist and possibly be able to be Nightfalls each week. We're at a point where we can only run the same few Strikes in the playlist, and it's saddening. Bring back Sepiks Prime, Phogoth, and the other bosses.
Vault of Glass and Crotas End and Prison of Elders need to be bumped up. Make difficulties similar to the Kings Fall Raid. One giving rewards up to 310, and the other giving rewards up to 320. This ALSO gives players more of a variety of weapons they may want to use, or armor that they just think looks better. Hell, to change it up a bit, even Original Nightfall the Raids and where if your team wipes, you'll be sent to Orbit and must attempt it again. This brings more difficulty to this old content that nobody sees a reason to play anymore, and gives players more to do on a weekly basis.
In the end, these aren't huge changes that would be nice. There might have to be some weapon tweaks considering year 1 weapons are, in my opinion, better than year 2 weapons. But come on Bungie, do you REALLY wanna keep your player base this unhappy until something more relevant is launched?

Edited by awsomeness3210: 2/1/2016 1:04:23 PMIt would be cool if we had... taken in VoG and in the paradox mission what would happen if orxy would have used his powers to revive and take atheon. reviving the vault of glass with a few more rooms extra and a small taken tint in it that would bring back 100% of the players that left except wii players
