TPS vs FPS

Why do people really dislike Third Person Shooters? I love them. I love how gears of war and The Last of us are like that. Hell, even the Tomb Raider version is fun too. Don't get me wrong, FPS is nice but I'd much prefer TPS. Division might actually be worth getting

I like sci fi TPS, like Mass effect . Not a fan of Tom Clancy games though . The divison looks dull
