Ok, so here is an easy improvement to make in Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner: Make lord Saladin the voice in Iron Banner. Seriously. This will give the game a unique feel to it that nothing else can do. Iron banner is exciting and all, but the event feels the same as it does in normal crucible when you are actually playing- relatively speaking. Adding a different voice for "3 opponents down" etc would be an amazing addition if Lord Saladin would do it himself. For Trials of Osiris, try brother vance as the voice. Give the new voices different lines, as well, that would fit their characters. Although...maybe brother vance is a bad idea since he's blind. Or who knows, maybe he could have some awesome ones, "I don't need to see in order to tell you just obliterated the enemy team like a wrecking ball" (work with it; i'm sure it would be a productive brain storm). Another option is to make voices an option that we can select, much like the voices in Firefight in Halo. Maybe I would like the shipwright mechanic Tex as my narrator. Maybe i would like Cayde or Eris or heck even the Crucible Quartermaster Robot. Let's be honest, we have some untapped awesomeness here. Lastly, if the team is still going to only hear shax, then PLEASE make him say the same lines for everyone before and after the game and during it (like when he says, "you've almost lost the game"). It really takes away from the experience when one person laughs at how Shax says, "Oh my, is that what victory smells like?" but everyone else gets different stuff. Destiny capitalizes on shared experiences- hence strikes and raids for god's sake-, so make the small tweek to make everyone else hear the same stuff, so we can all just enjoy it together. This is all, of course, if my aforementioned ideas are rejected. It makes no sense to have the same lines with different voice actors.
