I see so many things about the game, I'm you to play the beta, and to pre-order it all the time. I just don't really know/understand what it is. Anyone care to explain it?

It is a game designed for you mortal humans

New Tom Clancy game, third-person cover-based shooter. Think something kind of like watch_dogs or ghost recon shooting combined with a better version of the Watchdogs cover system, all looking fancy as hell. The "high-stakes endgame" mechanic is a designated zone with its own rank and currency, limits on loot pickups requiring a VERY telegraphed extraction process to recover and use later, loss of exp, currency, and all items not extracted upon death, high-level enemies, and the ability to go "rogue" and attack players outside of your squad. Having messed with the beta for the whole day, it's looking to be in a similar position as Destiny was while being really fun; strictly speaking, the mechanics are pretty damn solid. How good it is will entirely depend on how much content there is and how good the incentive to keep playing that content is. When the game goes well and you've got a group calling out and covering each other, it's incredibly entertaining and if they had more stuff unlocked in this beta I'd probably be pulling an all-nighter with buddies right now. If you haven't looked at it at all, you should look up a stream. It's looking good so far. All that said, the dark zone absolutely breaks friendships. Not even talking betraying each other; when you get into a personal duel with a rogue group, you will absolutely want to tear each other's necks out every time someone makes even a tiny slip-up and gets taken down.

What destiny was supposed to be.

It's a game where you put your dik in a box, then go up to a group of girls and tell them to each reach inside one by one. The point is to see how many divide up into those that run off and those that stay around and play with it. Fun as hell game. :D

Proof Tom Clancy should find another career path.

An open world 3rd person squad based rpg. It has a similar MMO concept to warframe until you go to the dark zones. Open world PvP in New York city. Loved it. Definitely worth picking up at some point if you like shooters and dont hate 3rd person games

Edited by Eirikur: 1/30/2016 10:57:10 PMA shit game people are hyped for, for some reason. I would advise from buying it, and if you really want to, buy it at least a week after release. It is Ubisoft after all.
