To Bungie... The new update that has been deployed has, in my honest opinion, had mixed results. For one, my W/L ratio is going up slightly because of the skill of me+my team vs the skill of the opposing team, but a couple of my friends said they've had the occasional latency issues that the community is experiencing. So from my POV, here is what works for me. (Note: Not everything I say here is correct, it is merely based off of memory. Game history may show different results, and yes I know I suck at PvP half the time.) [spoiler]- Games are becoming more competitive and challenging, yet my recent matches have become slightly fairer due to balanced teams based on skill level. (I.e. I've only had one occasion when the Mercy Rule went active) - I rarely see any lag for me outside of ToO, which to my understanding the settings have not been deployed in that playlist. So it appears to me that a slight balance between skill and connection has appeared, but then again, the update has only been around for a short bit.[/spoiler] Here is what [i]doesn't[/i] work. [spoiler]- Sometimes I end up jumping into a game and it takes 5 MINUTES to load the map. All it shows is a black screen with the title and location in the bottom left. (I.e. Pantheon, Black Garden, Mars) - Kills are delayed sometimes, although I'm pretty sure it's either lag or just me. And before anyone ask, yes my internet is high speed even though I just had a just had about 2 tons of snow dumped on/around my house. - There are still occasions where matches become lopsided. Although destroying my enemies in PvP by blasting Rockets or Shotgun Pellets in their face, or putting rounds in their heads with MIDA and 1000-YS, I feel like it's unfair. Still needs a bit more balancing between connection and skill, like searching for people with good connections then narrowing that list down to skill levels that are appropriate for that player.[/spoiler] I don't want to mess up Destiny or anything and I am not suggesting anything. I'm merely expressing my thoughts in a manner that I think is appropriate. Besides, there's always ways to improve. I can't wait to see what is in store for 2016. I loved using it in year one and I feel like it was fairly balanced back during the days of HoW. However, please increase the base magazine size by 2-4 shots (21 -> 23-25), it runs out of ammo rediculously fast. Thank you!
