I am an okay player, I hold my own in pvm, not so much at crucible. But that is neither here nor there. I play hard mode, I do the challenge etc, I am currently level 314 on one character. I finish the hard mode raid only to get one piece of harrowed armor, exactly the same as the one I received in the last raid. I grind, I play, I help others out, but the story is always the same, crap loots, and almost never enough to help me get to.the next light level.
I understand wanting to keep the game interesting and such, but receiving a 280 light piece of gear from a legendary engram or the exact same drops repeatedly is making it seem redundant. I want to see more progress than a light level every 2 weeks. I want to be able to help other players more nefficiently. But the way the RNG works seems less random and more jackbooted, it keeps you down.
I know this post is probably the same story repeated for the 1000th time. But the wheel has to squeak, I am not datto, or gothalion I don't play for a living, but I do play alot, in fact a whole lot more than I should. And I love this game, but the redundancy and repetitive nature has me wondering why I waste my time time with this game at all. I could have 99 in all my skills in Runescape with the amount of time I have spent grinding just to have ALL of my gear and all of my time laid waste by the new updates.
Anyway just a gripe, thank you for your time.
