Agree

Totally agree. I wouldn't mind waiting for 3+ min for a match with all solos or 2 person fireteams
-
-
Teams of 4+ shouldn't get matched with all randos. Both are terribly unlikely
-
Agreed
-
I leave when I see this and MM again
-
This. Part of the reason that discouraged me from playing.
-
Yes please
-
Match me up with the sweatiest 6 man team ever....idc....just don't match me up with kids that hang at the enemy's rift while the enemy has the ball and is going to ours.....-.-

Normally I don't mind doing Iron Banner as a solo player, but it's painful for Rift, even though I know how to play this game mode. This has been my experience the past couple days as a solo player: 0) Select Iron Banner from the Director. 1) Matchmaking algorithm shoehorns me into a match with less than five minutes left, on a team losing by over 10k points, into the spot left by a ragequitter. 2) Team gets trounced. Lord Shaxx, in a moment of horrific realization, invokes the mercy rule because even a die-hard killer like him hates watching puppies getting kicked repeatedly. Teammates are using their helmets to carry the remaining shreds of both their dignity and their assholes back to orbit. 3) Teams are broken up in the hopes of finding a better fit for the players. 4) Goto step 1. On the plus side, I've only seen one redbar, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

Edited by UNIT 242: 1/29/2016 11:13:38 AMFor Iron Banner All playlists except classic crucible turn into Iron Banner for a week There are two playlists one teams allowed one similar to mercenary playlist from CoD to allow only individuals. PROS: Everyone plays the game type they want Solo players stand a chance because now they have no teams to fight against Reduced lag as you spread the player base out among all types instead of overloading one. (They used this excuse for lag during SRL, don't know if this really helps or not but based on that tweet I'll assume it does) CONS: Slightly longer queue times most likely

Size doesn't matter, it's how it's used. A big fireteam doesn't always mean an effective one. Mostly, but not always. How often are you matched against large fireteams?
-
Switch to team chat....fireteam enabled

Agreed.

Mega agree. Fun to win those, but more often than not its just an ass whipping waiting to happen.
-
With teams a fireteam of more than 2 I'll play against a duo but nothing more than that
-
That's the price we pay for going in solo... You'll get better...
-
Stop your bitching and get good

Edited by Captain K1utchx: 1/29/2016 7:36:40 AMWait so I'm having trouble understanding. Do you not want there to be solo players on the same side as a 4 or 5 man fire team or do you not want to be matched against a fire team of 4 or more?
-
Fireteams bigger than 2 shouldn't be able to enter.
-
Well everyone wants cbmm until you get it and now everyone wants some other kind of matchmaking.
