So I was looking at the ships for year 2 and I noticed fatal vision still wasn't available, I looked up to see if any one had it and there are rumors, some supposedly true, that it does exist. Then I did some research in to its origin. I'm no Shakespeare an scholar. But I think this ship may have just been a joke. A good one if I do say so my self.
In Macbeth, fatal vision refers to a dagger Macbeth believes he sees, but is unable to touch. Because of this he realises that is a image his mind has created out of what he is thinking of (murder in the context of Macbeth). Destiny fans this is our fatal vision, our deepest desire turned hallucination. We want loot, so the game teases us with a ship we can see, but one that we can not obtain.

I know this post was a long time ago. But when Macbeth mentions fatal vision he also says somthing among the lines of 'Come let me clutch thee' which coincidentally is the text on the ship.

I got it yesterday, good theory though

wow, nice research dude. That's pretty cool. I hate how this seems sarcastic, its not meant to be.

Interesting but If that is true, then the devs are bigger pricks than many people thought
